The Young Water Professionals (YWPs) networks of IWA and AWA exist to engage, represent and support YWPs working in the water and wastewater industry in Australia. Since their inception, IWA is the premier global network and AWA is the premier Australian network for YWPs.
Both YWPs programs offer professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities, to ensure YWPs have the skills and knowledge to manage and address future global and regional water issues.
There is no hard and fast definition of a YWP, but as a guideline a YWP may be under 35 years of age or with less than 10 years experience in the water sector.
