Paper Submissions

  Conference Theme

Original submissions are invited on all aspects of the water industry in areas including but not limited to:
    - Full scale case studies
    - Community engagement and perceptions
    - Water quality monitoring and modelling
    - Recycled water
    - Membranes and desalinisation
    - Wastewater treatment
    - Water management law and policy
    - Water education
    - Catchment management
    - Integrated and decentralised water systems
    - Novel treatment or monitoring technologies

One of the aims is to cover the broad range of the water industry and explore the scope of Australian research and development.
Papers will be accepted from authors conducting work in Australia or from Australians working abroad. The program will consist of platform presentations, posters and ample time for discussion.

Paper Submission

Step 1: Please ensure your outline paper is submitted according to the paper submission guidelines. ( CLICK HERE), to read the guidelines. Your outline paper should be saved as a PDF. The file name of the outline paper should be the corresponding author’s name, followed by the word “Paper”. For example, Mary (First Name) Smith (Family Name) should be saved as “SmithMaryPaper”.

Step 2:

It is required that the corresponding author of the outline paper complete a corresponding author details word document. This document is required to be submitted in conjunction with the outline paper. The corresponding author’s details should be saved as a word document, as per the template. The file name of this document should be the corresponding author’s name, followed by the word “Details”. For example Mary (First Name) Smith (Family Name) would be saved as “SmithMaryDetails”.

Step 3:

Please attach and submit both the outline paper and corresponding author details together by email to ywp2008@awa.asn.au .

Papers submissions will open from October 1 2007 and must be received by November 30 2007. Submitted papers will be reviewed by the program committee to select papers for platform and poster presentation. Authors will be notified by December 21 2007 if accepted.
