The University of Queensland was established in 1909 and is one of Australia’s premier learning and research institutions. The University is a founding member of the Group of Eight and is committed to ensuring Australia has higher education institutions which are genuinely world class.   The conference will be held at The University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus. The campus is considered by many to be Australia’s most attractive. It is located on 114-hectare site in a bend of the Brisbane river, with extensively landscaped gardens and beautiful sandstone and contemporary buildings.

The conference will be held in the new multipurpose UQ centre (Building,27A), which host an array of sporting and cultural events, trade shows and conference. With state of the art facilities and beautiful scenic views, it will be the centre of conference activity and networking. It is located seven kilometers from the heart of Brisbane city and its cultural district.

Domestic Airport

Taxi: To Union Rd, University of Queensland, St Lucia Campus. Approximate cost $46. Distance 23 Km
Train: Brisbane airport (domestic) to Brisbane City e.g. Roma St Station. Approximate cost $12 single way. Then take a train from Roma St Station to Toowong Station. From Toowong station cross Benson St and catch a bus to UQ-402, 411 or 412. Approximate cost $ 6.

Other Transportation Modes

Driving: As it is still student holidays, there may be parking available on the street. However if not, long-term casual parking is available in two multi-level carparks off Sir Fred Schonell Drive, at Parking Station One (opposite the Athletics Centre), and in the Warehouse carpark (entry from Walcott Street). Multilevel zone is $1.20 per hour. Green zone is $ 3.00 per day.
